inning with a 3-1 lead, but it didn't last long. O'Neill led
off with a straight HR (3-4) and Jefferson drew a pinch-hit
walk. Morandini popped to 3rd (he failed on a sac in the 6th
so I hit away....the result was 3-10....would have been a pop
out anyway), but George Williams followed with a BPHR (1 to
5) to take a 4-3 lead. Dunston reached on an error by DiPoto
and Anderson walked. Boggs and Longmire doubled to take a 7-3
lead. Slocomb closed it out for the victory.
