Clemens was rudely greeted in the first inning after two were

In LA's second inning, a walk, 2 singles, and a double tired
Clemens. Through 7 innings, the Disasters' Kevin Brown flirted
with disaster as the Orioles left 13 men on base, including
8 in scoring position, but still had a 6-1 lead. In the bottom
of the 8th, Jeter, Knoblauch, and Joyner led off with walks to
fatigue Brown. In came Dan Naulty, and Edgar Martinez walked,
then Steve Finley tripled. After two were out, Otis Nixon
singled home Finley to tie the game at 6. In the top of the
9th, Ramirez led off with a walk, went to second on a wild
pitch, went to third on a passed ball, and scored the go-ahead
run on a passed ball. In the bottom of the 9th, after a Jeter
strikeout and a Knoblauch walk, Mike Jackson relieved Naulty.
Wally Joyner singled, Edgar Martinez doubled to tie the game,
Finley was intentionally walked, and Mark Johnson drove the
winning run home on a pinch hit single. The win for the Orioles
tied the series at 2.

GAME 7

Starting Pitchers: Baltimore - Roger Clemens
Los Angeles - Kevin Brown
WP - Terry Adams (2-0) LP - Dan Naulty (0-1)

HR: Baltimore - Steve Finley
Los Angeles - None
Highlights: The final game of the series was a classic. It was the third
Roger Clemens/Kevin Brown matchup of the series. The Disasters
had touched up Clemens in the previous two games by scoring 10
runs on 18 hits in 14.1 innings, but this time Clemens had his
good stuff. With the score 2-1 Orioles in the bottom of the
8th, Roberto Alomar singled (single 1, out 2-20). Wilson sac'ed
him to second, and Greer singled home Alomar to tie the game.
After 9 innings, the scored remained tied at 2. Both teams
went down 1-2-3 in the 10th. The Orioles threatened in the
11th with the bases loaded and one out with Knoblauch up to bat.
A 3-2-3 doubleplay ended the threat. In the 12th, with one out
and a runner on first, Steve Finley hit a HR to give the O's a
4-2 lead (Thoughts of last year's World Series came into the
Orioles' Manager. After scoring twice in the top of the 11th
to take a 2-0 lead in game 7, Mike Lansing hit a 3-run HR in
the bottom of the 11th to win the game and the Series.). Sure
enough, the Disasters loaded the bases with one out in the
bottom of the 12th inning, and Dan Wilson rolled a ballpark HR
attempt (1-2 in LA), and .... missed, but one run scored on the
sac fly. Greer flew out to end the game, and the Orioles are
headed to the World Series for a second consecutive year, and
the third time in four years.
