at Camp Misty Mount in Catoctin Mountain National Park, near Thurmont, Maryland

The camp runs from about 6 p.m. on Friday to about noon on Sunday.

The fine print: Kids prices apply to children ages 4-14. Under 4 free. • $6 discount for early registration • $10 late fee if your registration is received less than one week before the camp. • $16 cancellation fee if you cancel less than 28 days before the event. • Lodging & meals included. • Vegetarian meals available. • Kitchen crew positions available; approximately five hours of kitchen duty in exchange for half-price camp fee, or approximately ten hours for full fee. • Financial need and artistic scholarships are also available. • All campers age 12 & up must work two jobs during the weekend, typically one-hour each. • Kids 6 to 11 must work two jobs, typically 10 minutes each. • Let us know if you have any food allergies or food restrictions. Sometimes we can accommodate you, sometimes not. • Member rate applies to members of BFMS, FSGW, ATDS, and CDSS. • Contact Matt Bieneman at 410-799-9180 or email [catoctin (at) bfms.org] with your questions.

Instrumental Workshops:
Appalachian Dulcimer - Banjo - Fiddle - Flute & Recorder - Mandolin - Guitar - Toy Orchestra - Swing Band Jam
Vocal & Other Workshops:
Harmony - Song Swap - Gospel - Storytelling - Children's Songs - Children's Clogging - Crafts - Juggling
The workshops will depend on the campers. There are usually about 15 to 20 workshops.
