at Camp Misty Mount in Catoctin Mountain National Park, near Thurmont, Maryland

Concerts, Dances, Song Swaps, Hiking, Swimming^*, Campfires^**, & Great Food!

Dates to be determined. Please check back in mid-December for the 2010 dates.

Spring: Usually the weekend that includes the 3rd Saturday in June.
Fall: Usually the weekend that includes the 4th Saturday in October.

The camp runs from about 6 p.m. on Friday to about noon on Sunday.

Admission prices have not yet been set. Please check back in March 2010.

^†Member discount applies to members of BFMS, FSGW, ATDS, and CDSS. • ^‡Discount for Children age 4-14. • Under 4 free with parent.
Scholarships will be available. Discounts for children and members of associated organizations and scholarships will be available.

All workshops taught by the campers! We have recently had workshops in:
Dance Workshops: Square & Contra Dancing - English Country Dancing - Clogging - Polka, Schottische, Waltz - Longsword & Rapper Dancing
Instrumental Workshops: Appalachian Dulcimer - Banjo - Fiddle - Flute & Recorder - Mandolin - Guitar - Toy Orchestra - Swing Band Jam
Vocal & Other Workshops: Harmony - Song Swap - Gospel - Storytelling - Children's Songs - Children's Clogging - Crafts - Juggling
The workshops will depend on the campers. There are usually about 15 to 20 workshops. -Look here for a sample schedule of workshops (from October 2009).
