Photo of people doing a waltz clog workshop.
previous Waltz Clogging Workshop next

It looks like the first workshop today will be waltz clogging. Looks like I'm late, too. Clare already has their feet off the floor!

The mess hall has a wooden floor, and although it is covered with tiles, it works well for dancing! The wood gives it just the right amount of spring and the tiles help it to resist all of the things that people are bringing in from the outside. You don't have to worry about damaging the dance floor, but you'll need to bring a separate pair of dance shoes anyway: The trails between cabins and the mess hall are much easier to walk on with stronger shoes, and you won't want to damage your dance shoes walking on rocks and twigs. For dancing, light, flexible shoes with leather soles are the best. Hiking shoes are the best for the trails, especially strong ones to keep you from twisting your ankles when you step on a rock.

When the workshop is done, press the next button.
