  Matt is currently the software team leader for the Matera Laser Ranging Observatory, which has been installed at the Italian Space Agency’s Centro di Geodesia Spatziale ‘Giuseppe Colombo’ near Matera, Italy.

  He also works on the High-Altitude Tracking System (GUTS), another laser ranginging observatory for the National Space Development Authority of Japan (NASDA), which will eventually be moved to Tanagashima, Japan.

  Matt is the director of the Baltimore Folk Music Society’s twice-annual Catoctin Mountain Music & Dance Weekend.
